"Birdsall House may be my favorite bar in Westchester. The 20 expertly picked draft beers at this popular Peekskill spot always include something surprising and delicious, like the Dogfish Head Punkin served on a recent evening. A constantly changing lineup of 15 bottled beers (and special bourbons and whiskeys) is available as well (all beers are $6 to $8.50). Then there is the atmosphere: set in a respectfully renovated 1940s tavern, Birdsall is hip but not pretentious."
